Syracuse (FR)

"She looks like a mermaid, he looks like a hard rock producer from the 70′s, and together their duo forms Antinote’s most melodic act. During the show, It felt like a break in the middle of a (very nice) kickdrum rainstorm." – Lucien Bruguiere (Boiler Room).

A beating 808, an acid SH-101, plenty of synths and some love chants are a few of the impressive elements of Syracuse’s intense and sweaty show. They released their first EP ‘Giant Mirror’ in 2012, at the early days of the Antinote project. The three tracks delivered a genuine exotic and psychedelic curiosity, on a high-quality level. The 12-inch single ‘Latomia/Lovventura’ invited itself in the ears of holiday makers during the 2014 summer, while being more poetic, far from dance music, but still dreamy. They will play in the next months at Baleapop, Siestes Electroniques, RIAM Festival and many more. An album is scheduled for release on Antinote in Spring 2015.
